El Mundo Andino en sus más de 11.000 años de desarrollo en el Desierto de Atacama y en todo el área Surandina, como la ocupación industrial en la Depresión Intermedia, tienen de suyo un altísimo valor cultural. Ambas cuentan con amplios y complejos sistemas espaciales y constructivos, que hacen de ellos, hoy en día una oportunidad de aprendizaje, y de continuidad arquitectónica, todo lo cual nos hace comprender el PATRIMONIO como una HERENCIA en lo ESPACIAL Y CONSTRUCTIVO, dejando de lado los antiguos cánones patrimoniales de élite, como lo son los estilos, y las fachadas, que solo han construido un desvirtuado conocimiento de lo que es la ARQUITECTURA en nuestra sociedad, aun en la actualidad.

De esta manera nuestra misión es ESTUDIAR, DESARROLLAR Y PROMOCIONAR, los ESPACIOS PATRIMONIALES, es decir, los espacios que DEBERÍAN CONSERVARSE Y DESARROLLARSE COMO UNA CONTINUIDAD HACIA EL FUTURO, ya que son ellos los sistemas espaciales y constructivos, que han funcionado culturalmente, especialmente en su capacidad de relacionarse estratégicamente con el medio ambiente y en su capacidad sismo resistente.
Para desarrollar esta misión es que desarrollamos 3 líneas de trabajo, INVESTIGACIÓN, EDUCACIÓN y DISEÑO ARQUITECTÓNICO en el CONTEXTO SURANDINO.
Para este objetivo es que trabajamos con un diverso equipo de trabajo que incluye a profesionales desde la ANTROPOLOGÍA, ARQUEOLOGÍA, HISTORIA, ARQUITECTURA, ARQUITECTURA DEL PAISAJE, Y PLANIFICACIÓN.
The Andean World in its more than 11,000 years of development in the Atacama Desert and in the entire Surandina area, as the industrial occupation in the Intermediate Depression, have a very high cultural value. Both have extensive and complex spatial and constructive systems, which make them, today an opportunity for learning, and architectural continuity, all of which makes us understand the HERITAGE as a HERITAGE in the SPACE and CONSTRUCTION, leaving aside the old elite patrimonial canons, such as styles, and facades, which have only built a distorted knowledge of what ARCHITECTURE is in our society, even today.

In this way our mission is to STUDY, DEVELOP AND PROMOTE, the PATRIMONIAL SPACES, that is, the spaces that SHOULD BE CONSERVED AND DEVELOPED AS A CONTINUITY TOWARDS THE FUTURE, since they are the spatial and constructive systems, that have worked culturally, especially in its ability to interact strategically with the environment and in its resistant earthquake capacity.
To develop this mission is that we developed 3 lines of work, RESEARCH, EDUCATION and ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN in the SURANDINO CONTEXT.
For this purpose, we work with a diverse team that includes professionals from ANTHROPOLOGY, ARCHEOLOGY, HISTORY, ARCHITECTURE, LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURE, AND PLANNING.
